Jazz galery at the "Prie Universiteto" Pub

Every Wednesday You can JAZZ!

The concerts are hosted by well know Lithuanian jazz singer Neda and manager Vyto Matrosov.

The Blues Club "Bruce"

Club's hours start at 7 p.m. Thursdays, the performances begin at 8p.m.
The club's founder is 'Still' blues band's leader Benas R. Vainas.

Enjoy Blues and Jazz music nights!
Rare selection of the blues and jazz records are on sale!
Future plans include unique "LIVE" records of the Club's performances.

Lithuania’s classical guitar club "Motus Recto"

Lithuania’s classical guitar club "Motus Recto" is the independent public organization of guitar music lovers and admireres. This club was founded in December 13, 1993 in Vilnius. The founder and the first president of this club was Mr.Julius Kurauskas. The aim of the club is to popularize the art of the classical guitar in Lithuania.

Activities of the club:

1. The coordination of club work.
2. The organisation of concerts, festivals, competitions and other musical events.
3. Supporting of musical collectives and single musicians.
4. The organisation of lections, seminars, practical courses, lessons for everyone attemting to learn playing the classical guitar.
5. Popularization of the classical guitar art in mass media.
6. Club has it’s own publication "Guitar" (from February 16,1998) , where the stages of guitar development are explained and important present day questions are discussed.

The club "Motus Recto" regulary organises club members meetings, discussions. The members get acquinted with video and audio records, listen to the lections, they also make reports and mini performances.

Some masters of the classical guitar had concerts in Lithuania by the club’s invitation: A.Frauci, N.Koskin, A.Rengac, T.Korhonen, A.Grün etc. and guitar quarters Jam-Q and Versal quarter.

The club pays particular attention to the Lithuanian musicians of classical guitar encouraging their creative and concert activity.

The club invites everyone who is not indiffierent to the guitar art to take part in club’s activity.
