Vilnius Music Conservatory

Vilnius Conservatory is offering trumpet, trombone, saxophone, flute, clarinet, drums, keyboards, guitar and bass classes.
The Department of Contemporary Music is lead by the team of experienced pedagogs-performers.

Education equal to Secondary School degree is a requirement. Trained ear, developed rhythm feel and overall understanding of jazz and pop music are expected.
During the entrance examination the participants will be asked to play the tune, etude and scale on their chosen instrument. Music theory and overall musicianship is another part of the entrance test.
Along with traditional musical disciplines, study course incorporates wide range of speciality oriented classes: improvization, history of jazz music, jazz harmony, sound reinforcement equipment basics, ect.
Special attention is paid to the classes of ensenble and orchestration. One of the most popular ellectives students choose is a vocal class.

School graduates are awarded Contemporaty Music Orchestra Artist, Contemporaty Music Orchestra Leader and Music Teacher diploma.
